Camden Apartment
Luke has lived in North London with his partner, the designer Duncan Campbell, for over a decade. The interior has taken on many forms over the years; its latest Venice-comes-to-Camden incarnation was captured by the legendary photographer Derry Moore for the May 2022 issue of Hamish Bowles's revamped The World of Interiors, with words by Ruth Guilding of The Bible of British Taste.

The murals in the hallway were painted by Magda Gordon of Atma Decorative Arts, and feature a bust of Antinous, Green Man brackets, shell niches and faux marbling.
In the kitchen, British Standard cupboards in a deep bronze red are topped with a bespoke pediment and urns painted to imitate porphyry.
The wallpaper in the bathrooms is based on a Renzo Mongiardino design inspired by wood carving and was made by San Patrignano, a community in northern Italy offering rehabilitation and training in artisanal skills.
The design of the bedroom's four poster was inspired by 1960s David Hicks versions, and is lined with pink silk. Its hangings, made using a Braquenié fabric with a design based on a document from the 19th century, match the walls.
