Royal Academy of Arts
For 250 years the Royal Academy has existed to champion art and artists. Just as their founders intended, the RA is an independent charity and is still led by many of the greatest artists and architects of the day. The summer of 2018 saw the Academy unveil their newly expanded campus, with more space to make, debate and exhibit art, as well as new places to eat, drink and shop.
To celebrate their 250th anniversary, the RA commissioned Luke to create a range of products aimed at entertaining, inspired by the Academy's place in London society, and the personalities who have frequented its parties and dining rooms. His resulting illustrations were applied to ceramic tableware, napkins, glasses, stationery, as well as biscuits and bottles of sparkling wine and gin.
